Nature Action: Mobilising Frameworks and Finance
CBA CEO Marc Palahí spoke at the Nature Action: Mobilising Frameworks and Finance event on 25 June, which took place at Lancaster House, London as part of London Climate Action Week.
Organised by the UK Government, the event brought together foreign governments, business, finance and Indigenous leaders to discuss increasing the flows of private finance to nature. CBA Chair Dame Amelia Fawcett moderated the event, which was also attended by CBA Ambassadors Uyunkar Domingo Peas and Vian Sharif.

Marc emphasised the need to transition to a circular bioeconomy, an economy centred around the restoration, protection and sustainable use of natural capital. He highlighted the work of the CBA in implementing Living Labs to test regenerative production on the ground, working with scientists, local communities and corporates to create scalable blueprints that can transform value chains and landscapes.
His Majesty King Charles III joined a post-event reception with sustainability leaders who are working to incorporate nature into business practices and find innovative ways to invest in nature conservation and restoration.
