New CBA Trustee appointed
The Circular Bioeconomy Alliance is delighted to announce that technology entrepreneur and sustainable fashion pioneer Federico Marchetti has been appointed to the CBA Board of Trustees.

Federico founded YOOX – the world’s first lifestyle e-commerce destination – in 2000 and in 2015 led the merger of YOOX and Net-a-Porter to create the world leader in online luxury fashion, which was acquired by Richemont in 2018.
Federico is Chair of the Sustainable Markets Initiative Fashion Task Force, which unites global luxury groups around a common goal of shifting towards a circular industry that is climate and nature- positive. He has collaborated with the CBA to develop Living Labs on regenerative cotton in Italy (in partnership with Giorgio Armani) and regenerative pashmina in the Himalayan Ladakh region (in partnership with Brunello Cucinelli).
In 2017 Federico was recognized by the President of the Italian Republic who knighted him as a Cavaliere. In 2019 Federico was honoured with the amfAR Award of Courage.
In addition to his role at the CBA, Federico is a Board Member of Giorgio Armani, a Board Member of Highgrove Gardens, and a Trustee of The King’s Foundation.
