Fostering collaboration and cooperation
CBA Affiliate Members gather to hear about progress and plans
The CBA brought together its global network of Affiliate Members on 9 July for a virtual meeting, to hear the latest updates on the CBA’s strategy, progress and future plans.
Updates from the team showcased the CBA’s strategy and developments, including progress across its Living Labs, as they move from phase 1.0 to 2.0. For example, Living Labs are advancing in Italy on regenerative cotton and on medicinal plants, as well as in the Himalayas on regenerative pashmina. A new Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) handbook will be developed in collaboration with Nature-Based Insights to implement a rigorous assessment framework, in collaboration with many CBA Affiliate Members.
Other key activities highlighted included the CBA Sir Evelyn de Rothschild Fellowship on Reimagining Nature Finance and Inclusive Capitalism, which has begun with an ambitious workplan for the year, as well as the ongoing activities within the Wildfire Resilient Landscapes Network.
The meeting concluded with a call for continued collaboration and knowledge exchange, as the CBA scopes future projects.
