Celebrating Harmony on Earth Day
On April 22 in celebration of Earth Day, CBA member Aboca presented the Italian edition of ‘Harmony. Un nuovo modo di guardare al nostro mondo‘ by His Majesty King Charles III when he was Prince of Wales, at the Festival of the St. Francis Ways, organised by the Fondazione Progetto Valtiberina.
The presentation of Harmony featured the book’s co-authors, Ian Skelly and Tony Juniper. The discussion also included Marc Palahí, CEO of the Circular Bioeconomy Alliance (CBA); Antonio Caschetto, director of the Center Laudato Si’ Movement of Assisi; Fra Marco Moroni, Custodian of the Sacro Convento of Saint Francis in Assisi; and Massimo Mercati, President of Aboca. The event was preceded by opening remarks from the United Kingdom’s Ambassador to the Holy See, Christian Trott.

The occasion aimed to present the book’s core messages and the “nature-first” vision championed by His Majesty King Charles III. This vision appears increasingly relevant and capable of guiding the development of our society toward a new paradigm—one that resonates deeply with the teachings of Pope Francis in Laudato Si’ and opens the way to a renewed understanding of the relationship between humanity and nature.
The documentary Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision, which premièred last January at Windsor Castle, was also screened.
