CBA’s Chief Scientist honoured

The CBA’s Chief Scientist Giuseppe Scarascia-Mugnozza has been awarded the Biodiversity Award by the National Biodiversity Future Centre.

The award took place on World Biodiversity Day on 22 May, during the visit of the President of Italy to Castelporziano, Rome, to inaugurate its forest restoration plan.

During his speech the President of the Republic underlined the urgency of rethinking the relationship between humanity and the environment and recalled how the protection of nature is now also enshrined in the Italian Constitution.
